Yuan Ming was born from a simple observation: the wisdom traditions of the East are rich, sophisticated, and deeply human, yet they remain inaccessible to most of the world. Not for lack of interest, but for lack of approachable entry points.

We are building bridges. Our tools take ancient systems (Xiao Liu Ren, palm divination, the I Ching, the Chinese Zodiac, the Five Elements, Ba Zi, Feng Shui, Zi Wei Dou Shu) and present them with clarity, beauty, and intellectual honesty. No mystification. No gatekeeping. Just well-designed tools for the curious mind.

What we believe

These traditions are not superstition. They are centuries-old frameworks for pattern recognition. Ways of seeing that illuminate aspects of character, timing, and circumstance that modern psychology and data science are only beginning to rediscover.

The aesthetic

Ink wash and gold. Void and form. The visual language of Eastern Metaphysics draws from the Tai Chi aesthetic. The interplay of darkness and light, stillness and motion, silence and statement. Our palette is restrained: deep ink blacks, warm cloud whites, and a single gold accent that never exceeds five percent of the visual field. Every element earns its place.

Because the traditions we draw from are themselves studies in restraint and proportion. A single brushstroke can hold more meaning than a thousand words. A single gold line can guide the eye more effectively than a dozen shouting colors. Design, like wisdom, is often what you choose to leave out.
